“The
Great Poem of No One” will be created
with everyone’s garbage. With this
action-stroll we will look for words in the places where they have been
abandoned in New York City: garbage dumps, containers, markets, department
stores. In these spaces we will collect
mainly pieces of cardboard where these words have been printed. With these bits we will construct a jigsaw
puzzle which we will modify until we have written a poem. Afterwards, this will be glued upon a piece
of cardboard, paper or plastic.
The
works of participants who would like to work with photography or video (always
with the word in mind: it is the protagonist)
will also be shown adjacent to the text. The ensemble will be called “The Great Poem of No One”.
